Class: Rollin’ Showgirls – Burlesque
Class Dates: 8 consecutive weeks commencing 25th March

This term we will be rollin' rollin' ...not of the Limp Bizkit kind - of the Tina Turner kind of course.
Our rollin' will be down the river, where the big wheel will keep on turnin' and Proud Mary will keep on turnin'.
Fusing neo showgirl burlesque with some slick 70s jive moves, Cora Confetti will have you shimmying & shaking up a storm!
Costume will be silver and fringing galore!

Class: Sexy Hip Hop
Class Dates: 8 consecutive weeks commencing 25th March

Are you wanting to embrace your sexy side but aren't quite ready for taking your clothes off just yet? We got you!
Are you looking for an opportunity to embrace a totally new character and harness your gangsta energy? We got you!
Would you like to learn how to create a deeper connection with the music and your audience? Yep, you're in the right place!
This term in Sexy HipHop we bring a few of our favourite routines together in a mix and spend the whole 8 weeks learning the choreography, cleaning it up for the student showcase, and levelling up by learning all about the performance qualities that really make us shine on stage!
Students will have a say in whether or not they perform in heels. Students will need to bring a water bottle, wear comfortable clothing to move in, and be prepared to do a small amount of floorwork throughout the piece. No harm bringing knee pads each week ;)

TUESDAY’S: PADDINGTON PLAY CENTRE
When: 6:30-7:30pm (4 Weeks)

Class: Let’s Improv! Tech Class
Class Dates: 4 consecutive weeks commencing 26th March
All Levels
Price: $100 Term or $30 per class for casuals
Whether you’re a seasoned performer or new to the world of burlesque, this 4 week tech class offers a unique opportunity to expand your repertoire and unleash your creativity.
Embracing the fusion of musicality and burlesque, we will be exploring improvisation in a supportive and empowering environment. We will be discovering how to effortlessly merge movement with music, learning techniques to express individuality and confidence, and sensuality through movement.
Discover the secrets of improvisation with Tink this term!
Wear comfortable clothes to move in, heels should you like to move in them, and knee pads if you’re a floor groover like Tink! +1’s are your water bottles ;)

Class: Neo Burlesque Collaboration with Lydia Grim - Part Deux
Class Dates: 8 consecutive weeks commencing 26th March
All Levels
Price: $30 deposit to start, ongoing split for room hire & costuming/prop costs
Collaborate with Lydia to build a group routine for the first Carnival of 2024! This will not be your usual more formally structured 8 week term, but spread over the first two terms of the year. In term one, Lydia has guided you through the process of creating a routine together, from picking a theme and music, to costumes and choreography.
Part deux: We will be rehearsing, fine tuning, costuming, and teaching to anyone who wishes to join from here onward! If you've thought about creating your own solo but aren't quite ready to go it alone yet, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute towards building a routine with the support of other performers around you.
The two term spread gives you the chance to attend more casually if you require, with ample opportunity to catch up on missed time. As this is not your usual class, the cost structure will be a $30 deposit + an even split of room hire and costuming/prop costs.

WEDNESDAY’S: PADDINGTON PLAY CENTRE

Class: Feather Fan Feels
Class Dates: 8 consecutive weeks commencing 27th March
Suitable for All Levels
Price: $180 Term or $30 per class for casuals
Feather Fans make me feel so good! ;)
That’s right! This term, we will be learning a feather fan routine to Crypto’s version of Feeling Good!
Mastering the seductive and glamorous technique of feather fan dancing, this term promises to elevate not only your mood, but your fan moves too!
Catering for all levels, we will develop your fan skills and techniques whilst we combine them into a feel good routine!
A select few fan pairs are available for use during the classes – be sure to check availability before booking in.
Students to wear comfortable clothing they can move in, heels & bring a water bottle.

Teacher: Scarlet Tinkabelle
Class: Mad Love - Chair (Acro + Dance)
Class Dates: 8 consecutive weeks commencing 27th March
Suitable for Intermediate + Up
Price: $180 Term or $30 per class for casuals
Sitting in a chair in its purposed fashion is grossly overrated don’t you think?
This term we will be focusing on movement around, on and in front of the chair as well as mastering some of Tink’s favourite and known acro chair moves.
Moves will be catered for skill levels in the class for the routine.
This terms choreo will be to Mad Love by The Pretty Reckless!
Bring knee pads, chair (*metal yoga chair), platform heels, water, wear comfy clothing (cover your shoulders and wear ¾ or full leggings), yoga mat for stretch/strength training.
Costume will be pink and black for this one!

THURSDAY’S: PADDINGTON PLAY CENTRE
When: 6.30-7.30pm (8 Weeks)
Teacher: Scarlet Tinkabelle
Class: Heels & Floor
Class Dates: 8 consecutive weeks commencing 28th March
All Levels (note: will include floorplay)
Price: $180 Term or $30 per class for casuals
With a love for 7inches a sassy strut and taking things to the floor, Tink is combining their loves in a unique twist focusing on dance/movement in heels with transitions to the floor and combining some floorplay tricks for your tricktionary!
Moves will be catered for skill levels in the class for the routine.
This terms choreo will be to Paint the Town Red by Doja Cat!
Bring knee pads,, platform heels, water, wear comfy clothing (cover your shoulders), yoga mat for stretch/strength training.
Costume will be reds *duh for this one!

Class: In the Spotlight
Class Dates: 28 March & 4, 11, 18 April
All Levels
Price: $120 Term no casuals
Want to step into the Spotlight and debut a new solo or refine an existing act? Are you working on a competition piece?
Join Tink this term with 'In The Spotlight' a solo development class aimed at performers wanting to take their performances further or prepare for upcoming competitions.
With Tink’s background in classical dance training, fireplay, sideshow, theatre, production, makeup and a variety of other skillsets, they are able to assist a wider variety of styles for performance.
If you are unsure, please get in touch. We want to make this process as pleasurable as possible for you. Creating should be fun!

Class: Fire Sessions
Class Dates: 25 April & 2, 9, 16 May
All Levels
Price: $150 for 4 week term - no casuals
Looking to learn the art of Fireplay or looking to increase your fire skills? Learn from Brisbane’s firey fairy herself!
Sanctioned Fire Queen by Satan’s Angel, Tink has been performing and training in the art of fire fusion with burlesque and dance for over 7 years.
The course will include Fire Eating, live wick pulls, transfers, fleshing & introduction to fire vapor tricks pending student levels.
Fuel use is included in the course. Please advise when booking if you require the use of apparatus so we can ensure it is available for you.
*This is not a performance/routine learning class
PRIVATE LESSONS:
All of The Vaudeville Consortium Teachers are available for you to book for one-on-one coaching tailored to suit your needs! Whether you are wanting to work on an existing act to take it to the next level, begin a new routine or simply wish to hone down on some set skills, our teachers have you covered.
Private Lessons start at just $100 per hour in studio and require booking through TVC - contact us for more info or to arrange with a tutor of your choosing.
Fire performance/privates for all levels and various apparatus are also available upon request.

All tuition fees (casuals excluded) to be paid prior to the commencement of term 9th October, unless you are enrolling under the early bird promotion whereby all fees are to be finalized in full by 3rd March 2024.
Please note, whilst we cannot offer general refunds, for withdrawing from classes due to medical reasons/covid related reasons, we are most happy to transfer to another term for you or discuss an alternative, please just speak with us directly.
