This  7 week term dives into the art of floorwork and acro chair technique. Two of burlesque and variety performance's most dynamic and crowd-stopping skill sets. Whether you're drawn to the fluid, sensual drama of floorplay or the daring physicality of acro chair, this term gives you the space and structure to explore both.

Each week builds on the last, so you'll finish the term with a toolkit of techniques you can weave straight into your performance practice.

Open to students with some movement experience - no acro background required, just a willingness to get on the floor and play.

We will be intertwining the weeks from Floor one week & chair the next, with a dual session on the last week. If you’re into learning one and not the other, you can opt to casually enrol and come every second week instead! 1st week will be floor so you can plan ahead.

Please wear comfortable clothing - no bike shorts, you’ll want your thigh’s covered for chair. Please bring your knee pads, enclosed toe heels as a minimum - platform stripper heels preferred, a yoga mat & your water bottle.
